Cops seized a set of firearms — including the AR-15 — by an Houston hotel room on Sunday, officials said.
Police were called to the Hyatt Regency Houston to help deal with a drunken, belligerent guest at the hotel bar, officials told the Houston Chronicle.
A search of the man’s room discovered ammunition, the AR-15 semi-automatic weapon, a shotgun and handgun, police said.
“He is drunk in order that they will not be able to interview him till he is sobered up a bit,” Houston police Lt. Gordon MacIntosh said first Sunday.
